UPDM is an effective specification for DoDAF and MoDAF architecture modeling, and is the specific application support of MBSE in DoDAF, UPDM is based on OMG's Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.0, System Modeling Language (SysML) and Service-Oriented Architecture Modeling Language (SOAML), which can fully support the modeling of DODAF and MoDAF from the capability viewpoint, operation viewpoint, data and information viewpoint, service viewpoint, system viewpoint, and technical viewpoint. It can also realize the mapping and tracking between various viewpoints. It allows users to model the architecture of DoDAF and MoDAF to achieve the implementation of the architecture of the system. UPDM provides a common meta-model, so that model elements and relationships can be extended as needed, and transformations between models and interoperability between tools can be realized.
This course comprehensively models DoDAF based on UPDM, and realizes the tracking between various models, and implements the overall application and management of the architecture.

This training adopts a combination of theoretical explanation and hands-on practice. Through practical cases, we will explain how to use UPDM for architecture modeling and system demonstration of DoDAF.
    Training Goal

    1. Understand the specification of UPDM
    2. Learn the metamodel of UPDM
    3. Understand the modeling of UPDM 8 perspectives of DoDAF
    4. Learn the modeling tools and model tracking management of UPDM
    5. Understand how to demonstrate the system modeling based on UPDM
Training Target:chief engineers, architecture offices, system architects, and software architects of military units Basics: Understand the DoDAF architecture
Student Foundation: Experience in business process analysis and modeling.
Teaching Method: Customized Course + Case Explanation + Group Discussion, 60% Case Explanation, 40% practice exercise
